Hello Leopards!
I hope you are all doing well and keeping safe! We are missing you lots and can't wait to get back in the classroom again.
Lots of you have been working really well at home. Thank you for continuing to work hard and thank you to parents for keeping up the learning. As it is a new term, I have planned a new topic for you will I think you will all enjoy. It's called 1066. You will learn all about The Battle of Hastings and the Normans. This follows on from our learning of The Anglo-Saxons and Vikings as the Normans came after these. This topic covers a range of subjects, including History, Geography, Art, Design and Technology, ICT, English and so on. (I have also included some extra Maths and Science lessons to which might not link directly to the topic.)
I have attached an overview of the topic as well as some links to websites that you might find really helpful. I'm sure that most of you have signed up for Seesaw by now. (If not, go back to the Home page and follow the instructions from there.) We intend to send out pieces of work for you to do each week based on the topic on Seesaw. It will be great if you could send me images, videos or documents of your learning so that we can see how you have been getting on and publish them on the class webpage. I will send out any resources that you might need for each lesson through Seesaw, but I will also create links to relevant websites that may help on the class page. The first piece of work will be sent out via Seesaw on the 16th April. Until then, continue to read lots and practise those times tables!
Feel free to send me a message on Seesaw if you have an questions about the work. I will try and get back to you as soon as possible. I hope you enjoy this topic. I have enjoyed planning it as I have been learning lots of new facts along the way too.
Can't wait to hear from you all soon. Remember to keep safe and keep smiling.
