AEN at Capel-Le-Ferne Primary School
At Capel-Le-Ferne Primary school we believe that all children have the right to a good education which meets their individual need. Our vision of respect, confidence, independence and creativity apply to all the pupils of our school, regardless of background, ability, gender or additional need.
As a team, we strive towards creating opportunities for all of our pupils to have success. We believe in early support and assessment to ensure that children are given every opportunity to make progress in their learning, both in their academic development and within their own social and emotional wellbeing.
The AENCo is therefore responsible for monitoring and developing the learning of:
Children with SEND
Children within local authority care (LAC)
Adopted children
Children who receive pupil premium funding
