Bright Lights, Big City

The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about London in Term 1, so we have decided to deepen and broaden their learning in Term 3 & 4 with a subject focus of Geography. 

The main objectives in our 'Bright Light, Big City' topic will be to identify countries and capital cities in the UK, look at landmarks locally and in London, identify human and physical features, plus create artwork and look at aerial photographs.  

Turtles Class went on a 'human features' hunt around our local area! We looked out for anything that has been built by humans e.g. a church, a house, a fence and a bench. 

The children were very well behaved so we had 15 minutes play in the park to finish our outing.
