Children have the choice of a school meal cooked on-site by staff appointed by Whole School Meals, or they may bring a packed lunch from home. The lunch should be in a clearly labelled box please. No glass containers should be brought to school. The cook provides healthy, well-balanced meals – please see the link below for the most up-to-date dinner menu.

Changes for the 2026 to 2027 academic year

From the start of the 2026 to 2027 academic year, all children from households in receipt of Universal Credit will be entitled to free school meals.

Dinner money

• Dinner money should be paid in advance.
• The current charge is £2.75 per child, per day. Payments can be made online via the School Gateway app, or in cash at the School Office. 

Water in School

Children are able to drink water throughout the day. Please ensure your child's bottle is named. No squash, flavoured water or juice, unless it is part of your child’s packed lunch. Children are able to top up their bottles during the day. Drinking water regularly has been shown to have marked benefits on a child’s ability to concentrate and learn. No glass bottles.
