As part of our Cornerstones approach to Curriculum, each term pupils across the school are encouraged to select and carry out tasks from the suggested list of project related activities for home learning.
Evidence of the tasks undertaken can be sent into school in whatever means is most appropriate, whether bringing in your finished products, taking photos or writing about your activities and experiences. You can also use Seesaw, our online Learning platform, to upload and share your Home Learning with your class teacher.
In addition, pupils will benefit from continuing to:
(See the class general page for more information about age-related expectations in spelling, time tables, writing etc.)
Additional set tasks may still be given for pupils to revisit and practice skills they have recently covered in class. This may be done as a whole class, or as targeted interventions for specific pupils working on specific next steps in learning.
Should you wish to carry out further practice of lessons already taught in school, or try to address gaps or confusions in your learning, you will find lots of helpful resourcing on the government recommended home learning sites:

In the event of your child needing to self-isolate or quarantine in accordance with Covid-19 guidance, we would encourage the completion of suitable home learning activities where you child is well enough to do so. These include maintaining key English and Maths skills, such as reading, handwriting, spelling, counting, times tables and calculation practice. Children can also complete topic linked activities either from the home learning ideas for the term, or from additional topic-based guidance, which can be found below.
