School Days

Over Term 5 & 6 our topic will be 'School Days'. This project teaches children about their own school and locality, both today and in the past. They compare schooling in the Victorian era to their experiences today.

Our Design & Technology topic this term is called 'Chop, Slice and Mash'. The children will be learning where food comes from and how to prepare food in different ways. The children will have the opportunity to design and create a sandwich and a healthy salad. 

School Trip

Term 6 trip is to Felderland Farm on Tuesday 4th July 2023. 

Please remember to put suncream on before school and bring a sunhat. Any questions please speak to Miss Grimmett. 

For our Design & Technology topic we have learnt how to safely chop, tear, slice, mash, grate and peel different fruits and vegetables. 

The children have been making healthy salads using the methods we have learnt previously.
